This movie is inspired by the real story of an Indian girl who studied abroad and came back to her village to become its Sarpanch. Ana is a girl from India who has been raised in USA. When she attempts to start a library in her ancestral hometown in central India it ignites a storm in the village's politics and bureaucracy.
