This movie is set one year after the previous one. All the four kids have gone their separate ways after graduating high school. Spencer is unhappy with his supermarket job and upon his return for the reunion, he once again wants to become Dr Smolder Bravestone. He retrieves the broken pieces of the game he had kept, repairs it and activates the game. When his three friends cannot find him, they go looking for him and find the Jumanji Game on, they decide to rescue Spencer. But only this time, the game has changed and so have the stakes.
