RK is making a new film in which he himself is playing the lead role of a character named Mehboob. The movie is like an old film, more like cinema of sixties. Even the people close to him are not sure that RK should make this film. He himself begins to doubt about the film. Then one day, his editor calls him up saying that the main character of the movie, Mehboob, is not there in any of the rushes or even the film negative. Somehow Mehboob has escaped the film and has entered the real world. RK has to convince Mehboob to go back to the film so that he may finish it. What happens next? Watch the movie to find out.
